Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
CD-Writer (myetemplate.com) helps you create documents from ready-made templates. This policy explains what information we use and how your documents stay private.
Your documents stay in your own Google Drive
Every document you create is saved only in a folder called CD-Writer in your own Google Drive. We never store copies of your documents, their names, links or contents on our servers, in our Google Drive, or in any shared storage.
Google account access
When you sign in with Google (or connect Google Drive), CD-Writer asks for these permissions only:
- Your email address, to sign you in and to confirm the Drive belongs to your registered account.
- Access to files created by CD-Writer (
drive.file). CD-Writer cannot see, read or change any other file in your Drive.
The access token is used in your browser and checked by our server for each document, in memory only. It is never saved. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
CD-Writer's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information we keep
- Account details set up by your administrator: name, email, police station, district, phone number and plan.
- Usage records: which template was used and when, so your monthly plan allowance can be counted.
- Sign-in codes: one-time codes sent to your email expire within minutes; sign-in sessions expire after 6 hours.
The values you type into a form are used only to fill in your document and are not stored by us.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. We do not use it for advertising.
Your choices
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time. To correct your account details or close your account, contact your administrator. Documents in your Drive remain yours and are not affected.
